Summer Camp

Camp Great Island is open exclusively to our current Great Island Riding Academy students. This way, our GIRA family can bond, learn, and create amazing memories together in a special environment!

Tiny Trotters ½ Day Camp - $375 per camper

For the littlest equestrian in your life, Tiny Trotters offers a half day camp for riders ages 3-6. Each day campers will assist in daily horse care, grooming of horses, and will have a private riding lesson! Campers will have the chance to tie-dye their own Great Island Riding Academy t-shirt.

Horsemanship Day Camp - $675 per camper

Our most popular camp is back and better than ever! During Horsemanship Camp, campers will have the opportunity to ride every day, improve their bareback skills, assist with barn chores, participate in scavenger hunts, learn about the magnificent Morgan breed, and much more! The camp will conclude with a fun field trip to Applecrest for some delicious ice cream. Additionally, each camper will have the chance to tie-dye their own Great Island Riding Academy t-shirt.
