MEAGHAN MOORE

Meaghan fell in love with the equestrian world in 2018 when her daughter started lessons at Taylor River Farm. Soon after, she began riding and showing horses, and quickly became a valued member of the team. After occasionally assisting with the lesson program, Meaghan officially joined the Great Island Riding Academy team in 2020; managing the tack room, preparing horses for lessons, and ensuring flawless execution “behind the scenes.”

 

She loves getting to know the riders and their families, and to our littlest riders she is fondly referred to as Auntie Mae Mae. Meaghan helps to teach new riders how to tack and untack their horses, and is always available for questions from riders of any experience level. While the barn is where she prefers to be, on her days off Meaghan can be found in the mountains, either hiking or skiing.
